Most appalling service ever. I had the most unpleasant experience this morning when I attended the Branch ahead of my afternoon appointment as I would not be able to attend later on. I attended because I had to present in person to verify my ID and sign one form which according to ANZ had to be done in person. It needed to be done immediately and could not wait til next week. I was initially told “there were no appointments available” and when I insisted I had to be seen I was reluctantly told to sit and wait. Not once in the 50mins I waited did anyone acknowledge me. In fact, I noticed an available teller sitting at his desk for 20mins. I had to interject when this same teller went to get their ‘next appointment’. The only way I was acknowledged was when I raised my voice at which point they refused to serve me which I am certain was their intentions all along! I am curious to know what on Earth is ANZ thinking running this style of “so called Branch”. The staff are lacking in basic customer service, were not willing to ascertain why I was there nor willing to be somewhat flexible not to mention the ludicrous opening hours. I will NEVER go back to this Branch and it is clearly evident by their poor reviews that it needs to be audited so that staff can be retrained and reminded that not every situation can be fit into an appointment slot.
appalling customer service. we waited in line for 30 minutes only to be told that we had to make an appointment to open an account!!!!! even though I have 5 accounts with them already, and then when I said I could see someone was free, was told they had another meeting, only to watch them get up walk out into Coles. Ridiculous. then try and make an appointment with someone! Wait online or on the phone. It's a joke,
sht service from Eyasu. Cheater always try to cheat others’ money. Charged service fee for closing account while other branches don’t charge anything. Bye ANZ batch of scammers with lack of customer service training. Sercurity with shtty mouth.
The worst bank manager ever. I have been banking with ANZ for decades. I was depositing coins and notes at the branch when he approached and told me and the the staff doing the deposit that I can only deposit notes and can have my $2 coins exchanged for $1 coins but if I want to deposit the rest of the coins to go outside and use the ATM machine for that. I had all the coins in the bags, so all they needed to do is to weigh them as they did all previous years. I have a business and if I told my customers that a particular machine can not be used when they are already at it but have to use some other machine when the machine is obviously available and it is only my will that stops them without any further explanation I don't think my customer would come again. I would like to see this branch manager working in a smaller company and how long he would last there. By the way it took 3 times longer to deposit the coins through the ATM.
So much negative I don't know where to start - went in to open a share trading account. I'm a mother with toddlers, no banking experience yet I knew to ask whether they had to cite a trust deed - I was told not required. A week later I had to follow up with the bank as I hadn't heard anything - I'm then told that I'm missing documentation the trust deed. I then have to go back to the branch to get this form sent in - no apologies, rude teller. Complete incompetence, don't know their processes, rude customer service, do I need to go on. The only positive was the excellent service from Maria who works in the Share Trading team who is working on expediting the process for me.
Worst bank ever... went in to open a new account. No greeting. Had seats to wait for help. They have 3 prison like booths for dealing with account enquires and things of this nature this is seperate from the tellers. This is very different from most banks in which you are taken into an office to discuss financial accounts and advice. Waited 20+ mins for help and during this time still no greeting or offer of help. During this waiting time 2 staff were helping one customer until the second member decided to no longer help and disappeared never to be seen again. After the gentleman who was being helped left the staff member then also disappeared for about 5 mins...still no interaction with any staff members offering assistance. When finally the staff member returned and called us up to the prison visiting booth we were informed that they had a booked appointment for 1.30 pm the time was 1.26pm. Therefore we left as opening a new account was going to take much longer than this as we were seeking financial advice regarding accounting savings. We are shareholders in ANZ and I myself bank mainly with Westpac and also a SH with them. I will now be selling the ANZ shares and buying more Westpac I advice other Shareholders in ANZ to also sell and Invest in another bank as if this considered customer service the bank won’t be around much longer
Can't withdraw money teller is broken
Poor customer service, poor answers in regards to a mistake the bank had made with my accounts and when I asked about differences in credit cards I was told I would need to look it up online even though Candice had a computer sitting right beside her. To top it all off she offered me her business card if I had any questions, I mean if you aren't willing to help in the store why bother even offering the card?
Feel bad for the usual 2 ladies I deal with at the counter. Always understaffed and the queue gets ridiculous. However things would move much quicker if you just focus on what we come in for and not try to push other products when the queue is 10 deep. Lovely staff, terrible organisation.
Staff generally friendly and helpful, but seems to be closed on random days, no alternative sites near bye. Williamstown also closed, and proposed new branch not yet open. ATM Rarely working for deposits. ANZ’s lack of foresight with options until new site is up and running is amateurish at best.
