Honestly the worst branch I have ever been to. Made a cash deposit and machine malfunctioned. The money was not refunded. Or deposited. I immediately called ANZ to notify of the issue. Was told they don't have anything to do with the ATMs and to contact the branch the next day. After trying to call them 12times without any answer throughout the day and leaving messages. I had to go in. The staff member at the front door could not have been any more rude and condescending. And telling me I was lying. He told me they have nothing to do with the ATMs either... After arguing He reluctantly filled out a dispute form. I regularly contacted them to get an update on the situation. And nearly 4 weeks later they deposit a fraction of the money that was lost. I complained about it and person at the front could not have cared any less. Honestly don't know how he was in a customer service position. I frequently make cash deposits. Had the same issue a once at the Tarneit ANZ branch, and they contacted me the very next morning and deposited all the money straight away, can't believe the stark difference between the two experiences. Obviously I'm now I am now in the painful process of changing banks and my home loan with them.
Stood in the long queue at opening time. They opened 5 minutes late, waited a further 20 minutes in line, no seats, staff member asked impolitely what I wanted, told him I needed to close some accounts as we were transferring to a business account, he mumbled wait here. Waited another 15 minutes in line when the same staff member came again and asked what we wanted, this time he said we needed to make an appointment. I guess times are changing when you need to make an appointment just to close an account. Well the business account wont be opened with ANZ if appointments are needed.
I have been banking with ANZ Bacchus Marsh for personal and business for over 20 years with not a single complaint , since the branch in Bacchus Marsh closed I was left with no other option but to go to Melton Woodgrove. The customer service is appalling, the queue lines are extremely long, there was only 1 ATM working, the manager is no help at all. As of today I will be closing all my accounts and if I could leave a minus star I would, they don't deserve a star at all.
Worst ANZ Branch ever.....constantly waiting for the bank to open on time.... only one teller serving at peak times. Other staff sitting at desks waiting for customers with inquiries. I tried to telephone the branch Melton to ask the staff if they found some personal belongings that I might have left at the branch by mistake. I rang the 13 13 14 number no other number is listed for the branch to try and contact them. I rang 13 13 14, then waited in the phone queue for over 30 mins. When I finally got through, I spoke to a customer service operator, she gave me the telephone number for the Melton branch. I called the number, no one answered and it went to voicemail to record my message. The message on the phone said this "voicemail is checked twice a day". I would hate to have an emergency regarding my account. Very poor service.
Whats going on with ANZ? Come on guys this new customer service system is not any good. You're only upsetting your clients. Long wait for teller service but whats worse is having to make an appointment and wait weeks to speak to a customer service person ‍
It's actually a worst branch to visit with disgusting staff . Should sack all staff immediately they are just wasting people's time and money. Do not bother to visit you won't be serviced. Negative-5 from me.
Worst branch ever! They only serves until 3pm google says 4pm and ask you to book an appointment for a 2 mins job! Customer’s are asked to wait outside while their slow staff takes ages to attend. They don't even offer a seat inside! Steer clear from this branch at all costs! Just one word for this branch! Pathetic!! My first dealing with ANZ bank and they ask you to visit the branch for an ID check in this modern age when all banks are doing it online?! I will cancel my card and move my business somewhere else! I dont even know how are they in big 4?!

Worst branch ever. Very slow and the staff are not helpful at all.
One star, just for having a branch open. No stars for customer service. The place is chaotic. Staff making coffee for themselves while we are trying to find a teller. One particular member of staff was extremely rude when I told her I wanted a banker's cheque.
