We went in tonight for an emergency visit for my dog’s sore paw, my boy is reactive towards strangers, he growled at the vet when she came to greet us, she went back inside and he was perfect from then on, he LOVED Lauren so much. He was running with her and everything, he has NEVER been that good with a complete stranger before. The vets there were so kind and very informative, but Chief definitely loved Lauren, he was so happy, confident and calm with a complete stranger! Super pleased with the service here and how kind everyone is
Just wanted to say a big thank you to the vet and vet nurses that were working Saturday 6th August. I had to say goodbye to my much loved cat that evening and the girls were so empathetic, caring and lovely. They allowed me to sit with him as they put him to sleep and then wrapped him in a lovely blanket for me to take him home for a private burial. Made a very sad experience the best it could possibly be. Thank you
Not only it costed us 3.2k+ for stitches & X-ray for our dog but the service has been very disappointing. I am heavily pregnant and thought the vet could have a bit of compassion instead giving me so much stress and drama. Instead being positive, giving us hope for your dog the vet took the worst bedside manners. After phone calls to friends to see what my dog had, we asked for copies of the X-RAYS, took it so long to communicate with us. Very weird. But the result came “very mild fracture”. As I have the health vet cross insurance the vet told me that the bandages would be free. Arriving there the following day they tried to charge us 85$, then I had to complain and they charged us 30$. As the service is never the same, one of the vets did such a tight bandage that my dog had a swollen paw, it was so sad she was in such a big pain. Then we had to do it ourselves because we couldn’t afford to get there on a sunday they overcharge everything again we had to take the dog on Monday and by then it was another infection. And the vet could only say; you should see the same vet the same time. What a joke. I made a complaint to the manager and I could have a minor excuse. And only defending their staff. The list is long and the stress given by the situation was awful. Please never take your dog there. Take it to someone who cares and give your hope and love for your animal. I will never be taking my dog there ever again who at the end suffered more than what it should have.
Thank you to the team at AEC Noose, especially Jennifer. All of you worked tirelessly to save our pup and went above and beyond. A five hour procedure is hectic but so appreciated and now he is back home with us. Watch your dogs on the beach people, especially beaches with lots of areas for people fishing to get snagged on leaving tasty tidbits for dogs to swallow, unfortunately with the hook Our at home version of the ‘cone of shame’
I phoned the practise to warn in advance that I was going to bring my puppy in with a broken leg as soon as we had managed to free her leg from the bars on her crate. I was told that it is an emergency vet and that was not really an emergency, so I would have to wait until they were finished dealing with actual emergencies. They were completely unsympathetic to my distress or dogma injury. I didn’t bother to go in for the 2 hour wait, I went to another emergency vet 40 mins away, who saw us immediately, even though they were also dealing with other dogs.
Highly competent, professional attention to our emergency situation. Dr Smith was attentive and highly responsive to our boy's needs.
10/10 to the AEC. We took our very sick Bob in the early hours of last Friday to the centre . Their quick diagnosis and treatment we feel saved Bob's life, he had been bitten by a Brown snake. The staff were very professional, which we valued at this very scary time as we were not thinking straight. They helped us through the initial process with so much patience. They kept us fully informed at every stage of Bob's journey. Their genuine love of animals is a pleasure to see. We can't thank the caring, kind, dedicated staff at AEC enough, thanks to them we have Bob home recovering slowly.
We have raced our Staffy cattle dog cross Jaz to AEC Noosa twice this year, both times in life threatening situations. The whole team have been quick to act, wonderful and thoughtful, the vets are amazing! Our 14 years plus old Jaz lives on, thanks to all at AEC - 5 stars all round!
Want to say a massive thank you to the team at AEC Noosa for helping my dog Sunny on the weekend after he ingested too much salt water while playing at the beach all day and was experiencing seizures. It was a very scary time but they showed so much compassion and quick thinking which saw him back to normal and able to leave the vet the following morning. We really appreciate everything the team on that night did for saving our best mate Sunny — so sorry I can’t remember any of their names! Definitely recommend for any pet emergencies.
The caring staff are friendly, calming and knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed our dog's issue and discussed a treatment regime, provided an estimate of costs and explained what would happen. They called after the first blood tests to update us on findings and changes to treatment. First class service.
