It’s clear to see why this business has been around for quite some time. Their cakes and biscuits are delicious and very well priced. The cake they created for my partner’s 50th birthday exceeded all our expectations. We will certainly be back and will highly recommend to others.
Angelo’s is an old school Italian pasticceria serving authentic Italian biscuits and desserts. Their coffee is great and I love sitting inside and soaking up the old school atmosphere. They don’t make them like this anymore - a ‘must visit’ for authentic Italian dessert lovers!
I use the Angelo Pasticceria for morning tea purchases when I'm working from home and lunch when I can't be bother making something at home. They're an Italian cake shop and also do a great line of "Aussie" cakes. There's plenty of variety, although I tend to stick to my favourites. There are also pre-made sandwiches and hot pies and sausage rolls. The food is great and prices are quite reasonable.
Everything made onsite. Pizza slice was great. Generous olives. Bought also a sandwich at $4 for snack. Very healthy & fresh. Spoke to the friendly boss lady - shop’s been there for 42 years. Now that’s proof of dedication and love, a sign of progressiveness in a modern city that appreciates old fashioned sensibilities. Loved it all.
freshest and best value panettone i've ever had gotta get in quick though as they do sell out easily i eat a whole one to myself every year
Nearly walked past this no frills shopfront, incredibly delicious biscuits and slices. Best hedgehog slice I’ve had that tasted more like a moist brownie. Great selection of bite size handmade biscuits. My favourite was pistachio and almond flakes and next was the Nutella biscuit. I’m hooked and wish I lived closer to have on a regular basis.
Great quality continental cakes very affordable we got these two cakes in last few weeks.. both were sensational .. if your not bothered about fancy looks and would prefer taste wasn't compromised like other cake makers.. give these guys a go
Ordered traditional cake for my 50th Birthday. Cake was fresh and delicious with many compliments. Growing up in the 1970's as a kid, we had exactly the same cake for birthdays. Nothing has changed, and its good to see. Sponge layered cake with chocolate and vanilla custard layers. Cake was well decorated with creme, strawberries and almond flakes. Well done and such cheap prices. you wont get a better cake anywhere in Melbourne
Don't let this unassuming place fool you. Old school style bakery and everything very delicious. Pizzas, meat pies and snot block have that classic quality you'll know from the school yard.
Best traditional Italian sweets 6 stars if I could
