Anchor Lodge Backpackers (Coromandel)

Greeted by extremely friendly Manager. The rooms to the rear of the motel would be quiet and have a delightful outlook. We stayed next to the road, backing on to a neighbour within arm touching distance. It was raining hard and blowing a hooley, so it was not the best sleep in a wooden structure. Good facilities, with a kitchenette and good size ensuite.

Very clean and spacious unit, with the trees behind. It felt very peaceful, almost like having your own holiday house. All the beds and rooms were comfortable.

Fantastic self contained apartment in a beautiful part of the world. Everything you could possibly want at your fingertips. I would return here in an instant. Highly recommendedRooms: 5/5

Last week i took 9 residents from Elmwood Village down for two nights. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, management/staff were friendly and helpful... Totally recommend.

Nice place to stay in coromandel. Looks like tropical island accommodation. However they need to deep clean many places and things in the rooms. As per the prices they charge oer room the guests expect some level of cleaness in the room. We saw big spiders and giant webs on ceilings. Kids were scared to sleep own their own. Apart from cleaning part is a good place to stay.

Nice stay in this motel, really clean and peaceful. We will definitely come back next summer. Just loved the stay.

Great comfortable stay amongst the serenity of the coromandel bush and sea in winter so town was also very quiet.
