I like this place a lot. I'm always out looking for a reason to buy something in there. Everything is expensive but I have gotten some great clearance items before.nThey have, well, it's a camping store so I imagine you can probably guess what they have.nnIt's easy to draw comparisons to BCF, and in essence you wouldn't be incorrect, but it's not quite the same. Anaconda feels more oriented towards hiking and being a more rounded camping store.nnThis particular store is located on the soulless big-box esplanade of Glenorchy showground. There's plenty of parking.
Arrived at 5:35 closes at 6 to be told we are not filling gas bottles at the moment. Asked why. Told we are about to close. Only 2 of us here. Hardly anyone in store.nnAm a caravaner. Rushed to get here.nnWas after a few other items as well. So disgusted just left.nnAbsolutely poor service. So inconvenient. Puts you off the brand despite having often patronising the store in the past.
My complaint is not exactly about the store but about online shopping. I couldn’t find a channel to complain about online shopping. I’m really disappointed about Anaconda’s delivery service. I received the product as a birthday present for my wife, and unfortunately, it arrived dirty.
Nice large store, but not as big as the Cambridge store. Helpful staff that are easy to find and take their time to help. Plenty of stock and sales items. High quality clothes, bags, camping and fishing equipment.
