If you're lucky enough to host your event at Alto, then you're a winner. If you're lucky enough to have Caroline run your event, then you're a REAL winner. Not only was the venue absolute perfection, the staff were exceptional, not an empty glass present, they were so attentive! But it all wouldn't have been possible without the help, constant communication, understanding and just all round joy of dealing with Caroline. Cannot recommend this venue enough for any event, a divine space. And the Damn Fine Food team are perfection. The Most Perfect Day!
We had our wedding at Alto in August 2022. Vicki, Caroline and the Damm Fine Food team were such a joy to work with in the leadup to our wedding and on the day. They made the process easy and stress-free, and the day went off without a hitch. The space looked absolutely incredible - it was everything we hoped it would be. We had our Wedding reception at Alto and it was excellent! Chloe was so helpful, responsive and lovely in the lead up to the event and made everything so easy and seamless. We knew we could trust her and the team completely and we weren’t disappointed. The service on the day was excellent and the staff were so lovely and attentive. Everything ran seamlessly. On top of it all, the venue is absolutely beautiful. All our guests raved about it. Would highly recommend for your next event!!
We just hosted our wedding of just under 300 people at Alto on the weekend and we are so happy we chose this venue. They over exceeded all expectations. The service from the get go with Caroline was incredible. Her “nothing is too hard” attitude was a stand out and she made everything so easy and stress free, Caroline alto is very lucky to have you. The night went so perfect, the service from all wait and bar staff was impeccable and we could not be happier. So many guests have later told us how incredible their experience at alto was also, how good the food and service was. I would defiantly choose alto again for any event.
We had our wedding reception at the Alto Event space. From our first interaction with Caroline right up until after the wedding- it has been nothing but perfection! Caroline made anything to do with our wedding reception an absolute breeze! The communication on the phone, in person and email was stellar. Despite everything else that we were dealing with during the planning process, any questions we had there were lots! were always answered clearly and efficiently. Even to the point of contacting Caroline to let her know about the cancellations we faced with entertainment, Caroline took it upon herself to find us a replacement without us even having to ask. She truly went above and beyond for us! I can’t speak more highly of Caroline as she is one of the best vendors we had throughout the process but overall just the best person- so down to earth and always up for a laugh- which just made the whole experience even better! As for the venue, the food and the rest of the staff- AMAZING! All of our guests are still raving about how sensational everything was. From the bottom of our hearts- thank you to Caroline and the team for exceeding all of our expectations and just making it the most memorable night for all of us!
We had the most amazing wedding reception with the Alto Space. Communication was consistent through the whole process and Caroline and Chloe were so helpful and amazing to work with. All our guests commented on how great the service and food was! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a CBD venue.
As soon as we stepped into ALTO for the first time, we knew it would be perfect for our wedding. The Melbourne CBD backdrop creates such an awesome atmosphere, and this is complemented by the intimate, modern and classy nature of this venue. Words cannot describe how amazing the ALTO staff were, both leading up to the wedding, and also on the day. Planning a wedding throughout a global pandemic is not an easy task, and yet the ALTO staff were absolutely incredible throughout the whole process. The communication was perfect – always prompt and extremely transparent/detailed. The food and drinks were immaculate – and all guests were blown away by the quality of service. Thank you to all the ALTO staff for making our wedding so special. We cannot recommend ALTO enough!
We attend our nephew's wedding reception for 100 people. Nice & cosy place for small gathering, service & facilities was great as well. There are also outdoor area with outlook along Elizabeth Street.
We held our wedding reception at Alto Event Space and couldn't be happier with our choice. The planning went seamlessly, thanks to a very professional event manager. Every aspect on the night was perfect. The food and drinks were delicious and well presented.
We recently had our wedding reception at 'Alto Event Space' in April and it certainly lived up to our expectations. We were lucky enough to work alongside Tevany from the beginning, and her team on the night were very accommodating. We would highly recommend 'Alto' to anyone searching for an elegant and modern wedding reception and venue. Incredible food, and the drinks were certainly flowing! Thank you again!
