Mechanic failed a Roadworthy check.
Most of the items listed were legal and shouldn't have stopped me getting a roadworthy.
I've done a lot of research on the codes and spoke to numerous mechanics who confirmed this.
Avoid this place.

These guys are great mechanics and great customer service. My car went in rough and came back singing. They told me up front what they were going to do, gave me a great price and knew what they were talking about. I'm very happy with my experience.

I called All Care Automotive Brunswick for a timing belt replacement quote. I gave the receptionist, I believe her name was Tegan, the name, model and engine information of my vehicle. They called back with a quote of $401 for labour and parts. When I called to make an appointment I asked to have the quote verified. I spoke with Chris who said, "the quote sounds right. We wouldn't change it on you. We want you to come back in the future. I'll write the quote down when you drop off the vehicle to verify before any work is done." When I dropped my car off Chris was not there. The person who was had no idea what the service would cost. He said he or someone else would get back to me after they enquired about the parts. I told them not to do any work until they spoke to me about the price first. Noon came around and still I heard nothing from the shop, so I called them. I spoke to Chris who now told me the timing belt would cost $392 for labour + $142 for parts (plus $72 for a possible gasket cover), which is more than $100 higher than the quote I was told would be honoured. I had them service another issue I was having with my vehicle (leaking clutch fluid) which they fixed via replacing the Master Clutch Cylinder. I'm thus far pleased with that job (will see if the slow leak continues over the next month or so and if they accurately addressed and fixed the problem), however, I will not be returning my vehicle for the timing belt due to the simple fact that they said they would honour one price, which they raised off the bat between giving me a quote over the phone and bringing the car in. Chris explained it was due to the five hours of labour required to get into the engine as it is a tight fit on my vehicle, however, I gave them the all the information regarding the specs of my vehicle beforehand. They should have known this to be the case before giving me the first quote and saying that's the price they would honour.
