Very disappointed with the service of this company, had their mechanic come around to check my 1970 chev for roadworthy, needed to get new tyres. Did so, waited 3 different afternoons for the follow up and he didn’t show up 3 times! Complete waste of my time. Would never use them or recommend them. Now I’ve got to repay someone new to start all over again
Quick efficient service. I used for a roadworthy on a new vehicle. Arrived on time and also called ahead to check we were still on. Went through all process, explained what was being checked and talk through any concerns. Good value for money and would use again no problem.
My dad booked an appointment today no one showed up. No one called to say they couldn’t come nothing. He then rang the office and they were no help said the mechanic would call and he hasn’t. Waste of time

I found AutoKing by searching for mechanics online and got so confused when talking with workshops and I had no way of knowing what I was being told would solve my needs and if the cost was accurate without having to take time off work and take my car in and be without transport for a day or so. I saw the reviews of other customers on AutoKing and felt comfortable and super happy that they could come me at my place of work. From the moment I spoke with the call centre who were very friendly and I understood clearly the costs and what would need to be done following mechanics appraisal onsite. The mechanic took the time to explain to me what was needed and priced up the work on the spot and was able to get me all sorted same day at a very good price and with options to cover cost on a time payment plan which was a big relief. I have no hesitations in recommending AutoKing for fast reliable and very affordable mobile mechanical services. Now if I could just get the same sort of service to take care of my kids, housecleaning and cooking needs, I would have time to breathe
I needed a Roadworthy ASAP and out of the multitude I tried, only Autoking answered with a real person immeditaly. They booked for that very afternoon and the inspector was here right on time. The inspection was thorough and I received helpful advice on some mechanical issues I had. I received the Roadworthy certificate promptly and for more than a fair price. I can recommend these guys highly enough. AAAAA++++!!!!! THANKS!!!
Cody was so thorough in his inspection and found details that we had missed that ultimately saved us from a car purchase we wouldn't have been comfortable with. An absolute legend, would 100% recommend Cody.

Well. Easy to book in with the call centre. Being the only car that I own. It is difficult to have sitting on the side of the road. The technician Brian in Townsville was great to deal with. Arrived on the day I called and told me the issue within 10mins of arriving to my car. The good thing was he call before proceeding with a price which didn't cost me an arm and leg to fix the starter motor. Thinking that it was just needing a bolt to fixed, being mechanical minded myself, yet having no time to fix it myself due to work commitments. On a HOT Townsville day on the side on the road he was happy to fix the problem. Brian was informative and even left the part that was removed so I could see the problem. Thanks for fixing the problem promptly and getting me back on the road.
