It's a small zoo, but it is FREE and educational. The animals were so lovely. It has a lovely park with some cannons and a playground right next to it. It would be a great spot for a picnic.

What a great little zoo and the bonus is it’s free. Made a perfect pit stop for us to stretch our legs. The zoo itself is very small and took us about 15mins to look around. The variety of animals is good. Big lizards, emus, beautiful birds and a super cute pair of little monkeys. The enclosures were clean and tidy. There is a really nice playground out the front for kids.

Awesome little place to visit, self guided and zoo keeper talks about the animals are on each day. Donations box in place for help to keep the animals there as entry is free.

Second visit here today with our teenage granddaughter who has never here, she loved it and we also enjoyed visiting again, lovely to see the newly added Quolls and the Lace Monitors out and about. Highly recommend a visit. Playground for the young ones nearby, toilets and drinking water taps. And a nice boardwalk down to the Burnett River.

Very sad ZOO  not much to see. Very small compound. Could be so much better if it had decant management. Nice park outside of zoo, would recommend a visit to park
