The Alexandra Park Zoo are a fantastic choice for a family day out.  The gardens themselves offer a peaceful and safe environment for children to explore diverse plant life, spot colorful birds, and enjoy the open spaces perfect for running around.  But that's not all!  There's also a dedicated playground within the gardens, providing additional fun and entertainment for the kids.  This makes it a truly comprehensive and enjoyable experience for families with children of all ages

A small zoo but free entry. I used to visit here when I was a boy a long time ago, and my visit brought back very pleasant memories. The enclosures are well done, and the animals look happy & healthy. The keepers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Worth the visit.

Small zoo. Free and really fun for kids. They even have colouring pages and a booklet for children to interact with. Situated right next to a park. Great for a picnic. Near the river

Amazing little free zoo right in town. Right next to the park and playground. Ample parking. Pram and wheel chair friendly. Whether you have 5 mins or 45 mins, there kids will love it.

Great park for all ages. The zoo is little but the kids still enjoy it
