I visited ALDI Box Hill South recently, and I want to give a shout-out to Katie who works there. From the moment I walked in, Katie was friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring about making the shopping experience better. She went out of her way to point me to a hard-to-find item, answered all my questions with patience, and even offered a few suggestions when I hesitated. Her positive attitude really stood out, and it made a big difference to my day.nnThank you, Katie, for your great service — employees like you make ALDI feel welcoming and show what good retail service should be like.

This morning, I was involved in a car accident on a street next to ALDI. I waited a long time for the tow truck to arrive and during that time, my phone battery was running very low. I was worried I might miss a call from the towing company, so I went into the ALDI store to see if they sold any phone charging cables, hoping to connect it to my car’s battery to charge my phone. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any for sale.nnHowever, two of their staff members were incredibly kind and helpful — they lent me a phone charger and let me charge my phone inside the store. I’m very grateful for their assistance and support during a stressful time.

So many 1 star reviews here calling it the worst Aldi store in Melbourne. Having been to over 20 Aldi stores in NSW and QLD, all exceptional experiences, I can honestly agree with the bad reviews for this one. It's not that VIC Aldi stores are a problem, just this particular one. I tried to go back a few times hoping for a better experience but sadly no.

I had a very uncomfortable experience at Aldi located at Boxhill on 27th April . While I was at the checkout, a staff member — an Asian middle-aged woman — asked me to remove my hat without providing any explanation. I complied, but I felt disrespected and uneasy about the entire situation, especially since it happened in front of other customers while I was paying for my items.nnI understand there may be store policies, but if there are any, they should be communicated clearly and politely. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and this experience did not reflect that. I hope the store takes this feedback seriously and provides better customer service training for its staff.

The counter staff Karan is very rude and unprofessional . If we are trying to seek any help for reduced items he refuses to help or has a major attitude problem . If he doesn’t want to work in the customer service industry, so be it ! Stay home but try serving people with a smile or atleast not with a grumpy attitude. Every Sunday he has same attitude towards everyone.nI think the store manager needs to have a word with him or people will choose to go to some other store .
