Albert park is lovely during the day, but I'd steer clear after dark. It has lovely gardens, some amazing gnarled trees and a great band rotunda.
This is a great little park adjacent to Auckland University. It contains trees, fountain, sculpture, seating, and extensive grassed areas. It is popular as lunch spot for university students and CBD workers. Highly recommended.
Beautiful and a great little escape away from your busy schedules in the city, its nice to just chill, relax or a picnic with meeting and greeting your friends.
