Love the open space, and beautiful view along the way. You could park inside the long bay regional park or street park around long bay surf club.
What lovely regional park by the edge of the city. Perfect for family BBQs, swim at the beach or a stroll by the water. Close to local tracks as well for the explorers. Simply beautiful and my favourite park on Auckland
A great spot to go to with family. All basic amenities are available. There's also a nice little playground for kids.
Excellent for swimming, having family picnics or bbq's with the mates. Great walk along the coast with quite a few small beaches to stop and swim. Can get very busy but still enough space for everyone to play.
Lovely short bush walk to further beaches, if the tide is low one can walk back to Long Bay along the coast. Great view, one spot has a native bush, bit if rural landscape and a seascape all in one, with out many people around. Silent treasure.
Awesome beach!! Lots of room.. activities and BBQ areas. Trees, sand, grass, very family oriented. Even though I manged to break a couple for toes this day.. it was still awesome.

Such an awesome spot. Great running and trail running. Secluded beaches. Main beach is always busy all year round with walkers and dogs. Excellent beach for long uninterrupted swims and SUP sessions. Calm and flat. The park area is large and great group picnics. Good playground and clean facilities.
Had picnic on site 5, amenities close by, not very far from parking area, ample greens for kids playing and beach 100 meter away. Awesome day out and a clean beach
