Golf course is really enjoyable for a public golf course, always has been and always will bennTHE PROBLEM is the staffing, my god, every single week we play the pro shop has the rudest staff, I have no idea where they are plucking these people from but on 3 seperate occasions. On a Sunday they clearly overbook as mentioned by the other reviews, there was a line at the pro shop and we had to wait and the guy out the front goes “you’re late to your tee time” like if there wasn’t a line we’re up next, pay, move to the tee directly outside the pro shop windownnSame experience on a Tuesday as well just snarky comments and a guy watching to make sure you hit off with your allocated duo it was a Tuesday and no one else was on the course , god knows where these guys hire from but no one wants to do any customer service work
We recently held a corporate golf day at the course. Desiree and Lisa were fantastic to deal with, providing a great service and day to the attendees.nThe location and price was fantastic and a good time was had by all.
Terrible condition, couldn’t tell the difference between fairways and footpath, chopped up everywhere. Got a parking ticket in the golf car park as well? How can the golf course not own the small car park is beyond me? Grow up. 9am tee time had to wait until 9:20 to hit off and took about 6 hours to get around, management got it all wrong. Would recommend to go here if you want to waste a whole day of your life! Cheers
Location is great, pro shop staff seem helpful. Greens are in good condition for a high traffic public course. That’s about where it ends, tee boxes and ‘fairways’ are pretty average. Best avoided at peak times as the course is rammed with hackers, resulting in rounds in excess of 5 hours and hold ups on every hole.
Have played this course before a fair bit, the course itself is fine and location is obviously convenient. But I am turned off it recently due to a particular staff member being pretty unwelcoming and passive. This is the only course I’ve ever known to just not answer the phone at any stage if they are fully booked, which seems to make it difficult to get a chance to book or at least get a “ sorry we’re booked up “. Won’t be looking to play here again.
