Dr Maeve O Donnell is by far one of the best GP's I have ever seen. My four month old has always been assessed as a "thriving baby", however I knew in my gut something wasn't right. Dr O'Donnell listened to me with care and empathy, and took my concerns seriously. She provided me with a plan that actually worked and continues to check in with me and track progress. I feel she genuinely cares for me and my baby. If there were more stars I would give them to her because she has far exceeds all of my expectations.
I have been going to Airlie Women’s Clinic for 2 years now. I have seen a few different physicians at the different locations, most frequently seeing Dr. Julie Cohen, and I always receive the best possible care. The staff and Doctors at the clinic are always very warm and take the time to listen to all of my concerns.
Wonderful GPs and I always feel well looked after. I’ve seen probably 7 different doctors over the last 7-8 years and they’ve all been kind, and very good at their jobs. And the reception staff are top notch. Great system of follow-up calls and reminders for routine checks. Referrals to specialists and other health practitioners are always made thoughtfully so I’m receiving the best ongoing treatment.
I have been a patient of Michelle`s for 10 plus years and have had nothing but exceptional care and advice over this period. She has been extremely helpful and accessible when needed. Very professional and provides a genuine interest in your wellbeing.
I am extremely disappointed in the service I received at Airlie Women's Clinic Malvern. Following a first appointment with my doctor, I was told that a referral for a time sensitive medical issue had been sent for which there would be a 6 month wait. At the 3 month mark, I called to check the status of the wait list only to find that the specialist centre had not received a referral for me. I called Airlie Women's Clinic Malvern and they told me they would resend it. A week later I followed up only to find the specialist centre still had not received the referral. The outcome of another follow up call to Airlie Women's Clinic was a request that I share the email address for the specialist centre and that they would resend it for a third time. There was no reassurance about further follow up or that they would provide evidence of this occurring. Needless to say I am appalled at the level of service and will not be returning. I strongly do not recommend this clinic.
I have been visiting the clinic for the past 3 years. My experience has always been positive. I have never had more than a 5 minute wait time for my appointments , Doctor Want’s advice and care has been the best I have experienced.
Airlie Womens Clinic provides an excellent quality of care. I have seen a number of different doctors there over the years and now take my baby there. They have always been professional, empathetic, and take the time to be thorough. I highly recommend this clinic.
The most amazing clinic! Such kind and helpful women! I got my IUD removed and my doctor explained everything in perfect detail and made me feel so at ease. I could not reccomend enough!
Today I visited Airlie Women’s Clinic Malvern for a pre arranged appointment scheduled for 12.45pm. This morning I was advised that the doctor would not be available and would I like to choose another doctor. This I happily accepted. My complaint is about the attitude of the Clinic Reception staff. I arrived 3 minutes before my scheduled appointment to be told that I would have to wait outside. My request to sit inside was denied even though the waiting room was completely empty. I explained to the staff that I had travelled by public transport and didn’t have a car at my disposal. Also at 71 years of age I felt it unkind to expect me to wait outside without shade on a 34 degree day. The staff did offer a chair to take outside. I declined considering this an unsafe option to have to sit in the full sun on a busy street. A visit to a GP should be a haven where one feels supported, secure and safe. MY EXPERIENCE LEFT ME ANXIOUS AND FRUSTRATED - THE GP I SAW FOUND THAT MY BLOOD PRESSURE READING WAS SIGNIFICANTLY RAISED ABOVE MY NORMAL LEVEL. NO DOUBT CAUSED BY THE EXPERIENCE. I will not attend this clinic again and advised the reception staff of that fact on leaving.
As a medical practitioner I am always interested in how other medical practices run. It was easy to make a booking, the clinic ran on time and most importantly my doctor Megan Byrne was well informed and helpful. It is a busy clinic, but they still manage to make you feel welcome and important.
