We booked African Drumming for our daughter's birthday early primary school age. The team were super communicative from the first email and we knew exactly what to expect/how to prepare for the event. Our facilitator, Bouba, was so engaging, inclusive and read the energy levels of the room well. Even the parents wanted to be involved! Thank you so much for making our day a blast.

I purchased a percussion for my wife for Xmas. It was the wrong one as my knowledge for instruments are zero. I went back for a refund and was denied and offered a store credit. The return policy is only 2 weeks from purchase My wife visited the store 3 weeks from purchase and was told we don’t sell that type of percussion and was told to visit another store that have them. She went and purchased that percussion and was happy. I had the incorrect percussion in my car as I was working interstate so she couldn’t return it back to the store. You can’t deny the consumer their rights for a refund it’s against the law, a store credit is not an option as I won’t be buying from that store again, this was a one off purchase. The store director Simonwas adamant that he would not take the percussion back. Extremely bad customer service, this has now escalated to Consumer affairs for a fair result.
Laura ran a 90min drumming workshop for my Yoga retreat group of 12. She was passionate, extremely skilled in group facilitation, turn a group who had little musical background into a full composition singing, drumming and dancing! She ushered in a transformation experience for my group, she was a joy to watch as her passion and skill set was clearly evident. Thank you SO MUCH is was a blast, you were outstanding and we LOVED it it was PERFECT thank you.
My family and I attended a 1st birthday last weekend with our 2 and 3 year old and we all ABSOLUTELY loved the drumming session. It had parents and children captivated alike. The drumming/music/entertainment brought with it a beautiful and fun energy to an already fab celebration. Plus I loved that the children could learn more about African music culture in a exciting and fun way. We would definitely recommend this service, such a blast

Our students throughly enjoyed our drumming experience. Jess and Mohamed were wonderful with the students - engaging, friendly and encouraging. It was amazing to watch the faces of the students as they participated and were totally immersed in the experience. Some of our special needs students. who sometimes struggle with new experiences, absolutely loved joining in and felt successful in playing the drums with their peers. Thanks so much from all staff and students of St Francis Xavier.
We had 3 performers and 50 drums attend our wedding as a surprise to our guests, and 5 stars doesn't do them justice!!! Dina was incredible to work with to book and plan the event, always attentive and able to offer suggestions. Communication was great. The drummers on the night brought such a wonderful vibe. Our guests are still raving about it. Thank you so much!!
Simon and the crew from African Drumming are great. They helped with entertainment for our kids birthday party and everyone had a great time. We had Appiah from Ghana and he was superb. He played the African harp for us and then we had a drumming and dancing session. Thank you guys and looking forward to seeing you soon!
Mel Carstairs: This was our second session in 2 years, and it was amazing. Aflah’s passion and energy is contagious, and he had all the students singing, dancing and drumming, even if they’re more shy or quiet. We absolutely love these sessions, and our parent volunteer from 2 years ago was thrilled he would get to see it again this time around. We even had other guests at the caravan park wait to watch the show, and lots of rounds of applause! Thanks for your help organising, and please pass on our sincerest thanks to Aflah for a truly memorable experience for our students.
