Nice pancake and coffee. Almost friendly staff. They could possibly be nicer if it's not super busy. upside: good nice fluffy cinnamon and pecan pancake in a reasonable portion, and a nice cappuccino. downside: the syrup was a bit too sweet and thick and a bit too much in volume, I prefer a runny syrup and not drowning the pancake in it. also a bit too expensive for $16.5 but Hardware ln is an expensive place so no complaint.
Love the eggs here. The customer service is great with friendly Italian chef and waitresses. They know my "usual" and are always very accommodating. The coffees are great too! I hear the rest of the food is also good. They have a great range
Your typical Melbourne brunch spot but my coffee wasn't warm.
Beautiful! Amazing food and such reasonable prices! Staff were so accommodating and helpful, pretty much the ENTIRE menu was gluten-free-friendly, so very coeliac friendly. Very cute little establishment, definitely will return when in Melbourne next.
Really love this place and I can't fault it. Have been here before and the food and service is always above standard and yesterday we had the same fantastic experience again! Coffee is really rich in flavour just as coffee should be. I had the Affogato Eggs which was poached eggs on toast with hollandaise sauce with a side of Avocado and Mushrooms. Lots and lots of flavour especially the mushrooms! My partner really enjoyed his meal too. The staff were really friendly and welcoming with quick service. Will keep coming back here and can definitely recommend for breakfast and brunch.
Good food, good coffee, great service and kid friendly. We waited 20 minutes for menus at another cafe before deciding to bail. We got our coffee in 5 and meals in 10 at Affogato's. Happily amended menu items for the kids. Spicy eggs were awesome.
A bit disappointed. I've been here before and had a better eating out experience, I feel like it's changed a bit. The meal we had was pretty standard, didn't have a huge amount of flavour. We ordered poached eggs with guacamole and hollandaise sauce, and there was barely any mushrooms maybe 5 small pieces. The coffee was okay, but took ages to come out, and came out seperately to my mother's. Service was a little slow when there wasn't many people. I feel like staff did their best but the experience just wasn't what we expected! :
This is a hidden gem in Melbourne, away from all the bustle of the main street. This cafe is so lovely and the service friendly & very efficient. They have plenty of gluten free options as well . Their gf pancakes are delicious.
Loved this laneway cafe, coffee was great, service was good. We had breakfast & the food was fresh & tasty. Lots of gluten free options including gluten free muffins baked on site. They had a coffee & muffin deal on the day we were there.
Best pancakes I had in long time! Amazing italian coffee too!
