My partner has banned me from the markets on payday as I can not walk past this shop without buying 2, 3, even 4 books. The book selection for kids/adults is extensive and a excellent mixture of old and new. I have found books in store that I have been actively seeking for many years from my childhood. I have also taken home many a quirky book that I have not seen elsewhere in my travels. The owners are knowledgeable and lovely to deal with. Definitely my favourite book shop in Adelaide!

I’ve bought many books from this beautiful shop. Not only do they have a huge range of new and old books, but the owners are absolutely lovely and always up for a friendly chat. Every time I visit the markets, I always visit the pop-up bookshop and am always met with a smile and almost always end up leaving with a new book.

Great options available in this lovely bookstore. I’ve been very happy with the recommendations from Nick and Kate for gifts for nieces and nephews- such as the ‘that’s not my...’ collection as well as something for me, especially when I’ve no idea what I want! I’m really glad we have this gem of a place available to us at the markets :

I never fail to visit this book shop when I'm in Adelaide for work every few months. Always a great selection at reasonable prices. I even picked up a first edition of one of my favourite books which was as unexpected find. Always friendly service. I'll be back soon!

This is one of the best secondhand bookshops in Adelaide. Kate & Nick are always friendly and helpful, and even though it is a smallish shop, I always walk out with something fascinating or just a good read. They have a huge range and present the books clearly so it's easy to find what you want.

I can't rate this gem of a store highly enough . The selection of preloved quality literature has a gentle turnover and offers something for everyone . I look forward to a chat with the owners during my regular browses as they have always been egaging and helpful . Thank you .

Always a fabulous selection, both collectable and fun little finds, Nick and Kate know their stock and are a wealth of information. My boys also find regular gems and read all the way home.

During my lunchbreaks, i would often pop in for a looksee as I know that there is always something new. Every single time, without fail i would leave with feelings of excitement thanks to the books i have just recently acquired. This little gem is highly recommended to all that find joys in the little things in life. So go on, pop in and be surprised by what you might find.
