Just visited the farmer’s market today, and it was a wonderful experience. There’s plenty of stalls that carry everything that you could possibly need from fresh produce veggies, meat, poultry & seafood, to pastries, food, cheese etc.nnThe ambience & vibes exploring the farmer’s market on a weekend was great as well. Many families with children, dogs, was a blast. Plentiful of good & coffee to keep you going as well
they usually holding nearby the venue of royal adelaide show but the show is on going this time so the market has moved to Goodwood Primary School for three weeksnnthe vibes is pretty nice here and many ppl come to have meal and grocery shopping here, looks so fun haannAdelaide Showground Farmers' Marketnnrating of mine: 4
Very nice and clean farmers market. There's so many food stalls, bakeries, cakes, drinks, etc in the indoor area. You can listen to music since there's a few ladies playing the violin. The outdoor area also has some stalls selling drinks, sourdough, honey, etc. There's a number of covered seating area for you to dine and have your breakfast or brunch. There's a few vegetable stalls, fruit stall and one stall selling fish. Many people at the farmers market but not to worry as there are plenty of parking spaces. I think the flower stall is the best seller since so many people bought beautiful flowers from them and the price is reasonable.
Nice Farmers Market just a little south of the central part of town. It’s easily accessible by both train and tram though unfortunately just a couple of stops outside the free tram zone. It has a wide variety of fresh produce as well as numerous stalls inside and outside selling food and drinks. It’s free to enter and worth the visit if you’re nearby. There seemed to be some similar vendors to the Central Market, though it had a much different vibe.nnFYI, try to get there earlier than later as things were starting to close up when we visited at noon.
Visited last week and purchased stone fruit at an exorbitant price thinking I was getting qualitynnGot home to find it dry and tasteless. If you're going to sell your produce at the farmers market for top dollar make sure the produce is top notch. Have had to throw it to the birdsnnCould have got better at the supermarket for half the price
