One of the best Airport in the country, easy to get around with wide open spaces. A clean and comfortable airport with plenty of shops. Car parking and taxi rank close to airport entrance. A new hotel being built at the door step and a dog hotel at a short distance. For those who find them selves pressed for time allow time for security checks. South Australian should be proud of this airport, however a smile from staff would be great.

Beautiful new, open spaced building. Parking can be expensive but which parking at an airport isn't in Australia? Nice to have the terminal all in one building rather than multiple buildings as is the case with other airports. Lots of people obviously go here, but the areas are so big that it never feels crammed. As far as airports go, I don't see how it could have been designed any better.

Very well designed airport. Very well set up for fiture growth. Only a big queue at security when international flights are leaving, rather quiet and quicker at other times.

Adelaide is the fifth largest city in Australia, with population over 1.2 milion. In Adelaide metropolitan area live more than three quarters of South Australians. The city is located on a plain between the rolling Adelaide Hills and the Gulf St Vincent and is bordered by many of Australia’s famous wine regions. This city is also historically known as the City of Churches much of the architecture in the inner city is retained from the colonial era.

The only reason this airport even deserves a star from me is because the airport itself is nice and clean and pleasant to look at. Enter customs and that’s another story. I copped racism left right and centre from customs officers who spoke in a condescending, patronising and rude manner. The customs officers here clearly have no idea in SA on how to treat people that don’t look Caucasian or who speak with an accent with the respect and dignity that EVERY human being deserves. I was clearly judged and targeted by these officers based on my Asian appearance even though I’m an Australian born citizen and am truly disgusted by the behaviour of these animals they call customs officers. I never copped such ignorant and rude behaviour at Melbourne or Sydney customs so there’s something severely lacking in the training these guys in Adelaide are receiving. I hope to never go via Adelaide International Airport again unless my life depended on it.
