So far the best I have been to, I always come to this clinic for treatment and always good result. Other clinics tend to only give you exercises but here you get both.
I went there for my wrists, I have wrist tendinitis, after initial consultation for 10-15min, they put these electrodes on to increase blood flow to my wrists, then massaged my arms and use ultrasound to increase the blood flow, the session took an hour and cost was $92.
My physiotherapist, Winnie was really very good and I would highly recommend her. I was diagnosed with mild arthritis in my left knee but I was limping because of the inflammation, swelling and pain. After 5 sessions I am feeling almost normal and it's all thanks to her.
I never liked that this clinic doesn’t have offices, just one big room like a hospital, with nothing but curtains for privacy. There wasn’t much of an assessment for the reasons I went. There isn’t much time with the physiotherapist. At this clinic, they are with you for a bit, then they go off to one or two other patients, then come back to you for a bit, then go off again. It would have been good to get more out of the appointments. I was just one of the many patients that they see in a busy day. At the end of my first appointment at this clinic, I was met with rudeness from Anne in admin. Wasn’t off to a great start. I’ve gone to other physio clinics since, including a public clinic and a private clinic, and they do have offices, they sit with you, ask many questions, write many notes, they are with you the whole time, they spend more time going through things. At another private clinic, sessions through an EPC Plan have been completely free, but at this clinic, they weren’t free.
The therapist is NOT GOOD and there's NOT enough attention given to one patient at a time. One therapist is to look after 2-3 patients at once. They apply heat and just go away for several minutes. They don't really take time to work on you. There's no privacy when discussing your issues, everyone can hear you and you can hear everyone else's issues. Not a nice experience. I went for 10 sessions for my lower back issues and no cure. They only apply heat and walk away. And the rude receptionist, Gayle! I don't know why a rude person like that gets to work in face-to-face, customer service position. Spent $750 for nothing!! Don't go to this place!!!! Looks like they target the elderly who lives around the area and make people attend sessions.
Active Physiotherapy is my number 1 choice for a physio! After searching around to find the right physio with the right amount of care who I felt listened to my needs and gave me the exercises I needed, I stumbled upon Active Physio and haven't turned back! Would highly recommend and will definitely be revisiting!
Phil is an absolute miracle worker. Very friendly & personable. Unusual for a Physio, but I love that he gives me tips to help myself so I don’t need to see him as often. Would highly recommend and he’s my go to guy for any ailments!
I am not used to a physio who spends so.little time with you. Heat and tens for most of the visit. I think I paid for a heat pack on my back! I had to call him back as uncomfortable lying on tummy for at least half an hour while he was, with other patients. I was, hoping for some massage. I thought that was why we heated the back up!!! On the plus side he was very knowledgeable about the condition.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Trust me. If you want to waste your time and money. Then go here. Rude service staff. The physio therapist will waste time with heat packs. You don't get well untill you go about 10 times.
Winnie is fantastic, you can tell she really knows her stuff. Would highly recommend her!
