About

The Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology is an historical museum with unique collections located in North Brisbane.

Story

Thoughtfully curated and displayed carefully with much thought in how it will look. The staff are happy to answer questions and have a passion for this amazing collection of artefacts from literally around the world. Aim to get into the chapel to check out the stained glass windows that come all the way from England. One man's vision has morphed into a superb collection curated and looked after by a team of conservators and loving caregivers. If you have an interest in history and like museums, you must call in and see the Abbey Museum.

Had a wonderful time with my granddaughter. She naturally dyed some material, did a dig, looked at other stuff and finished off with learning and doing Archery.

Only attended the markets so cannot comment on the museum. The markets were pretty good for a small community.

I love the Abbey Museum and their school holiday program has become part of my two grandsons life. So much in fact that when plans are being made "what's on at the Abbey" is the first thing they ask.
