It was a seamless experience! It was my first visit to this Centre in June 2024 and it was a lucky one as I was able to get an immediate theory test slot and even pass it! However, what made it easy and a pleasant experience is the accommodative nature of employees here. In spite of some confusion related to a document of overseas license of mine, they were able to call and confirm with Waka Kotahi without giving me any troubles, something the City Centre branch was not close to offering a patient listening to the customer. Just the approachability and friendliness of the employees at this Rototuna branch made all the difference for this 5 star experience. Well done and keep up the great customer service! Will surely visit again even though not the nearest.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent visit to your centre in Rototuna for the conversion of my overseas driving license.nOn 8/6/24, I approached the counter staff to convert my original driving license from Myanmar. The staff member who attended to me appeared unfamiliar with the appearance of my license. She consulted with a colleague and subsequently contacted the NZTA for further verification. The reason provided for this scrutiny was the color of my license, which she compared to those in her handbook. According to her, the color of my license did not match the standard colors depicted in the handbook.nThis comparison was particularly confusing and frustrating because my partner, who possesses an identical license from the same country, had previously undergone the conversion process at one of the AA centre without encountering any issues.nAfter this encounter, I spent my Saturday morning traveling from Hamilton to Rototuna, only to face unnecessary delays and confusion.nTo understand the discrepancy, I contacted the licensing authority in my home country. They clarified that the color of my license denotes its sub-category private car, whereas the handbook images referenced by your staff show colors for taxi and cargo drivers.nThis experience has been exceedingly frustrating and raises concerns about the consistency and accuracy of the information and training provided to your staff regarding overseas licenses. It seems unfair that I had to face such obstacles and waste valuable time, while others with the same type of license did not.nI hope you can address this issue and improve the process to ensure that future customers do not encounter similar problems.
I got my license and I got my car insurance from this AA centre and the service was excellent and very helpful to me always ! The staff, Rakesh sir was helps me lot always to treat me like friend . Thank you once again sir
There staff is very nice and cooperative specially Rio and Nam. They both are fantastic.
Me and my brother just got our learner's licenses from this AA and the service was amazing! The lady that helped us, Rhiaan, was absolutely lovely and super patient and made the whole thing a lot less stressful. She was also very accommodating of my brother who has ADHD and struggled a bit with some of the process.
