First time playing indoor soccer , its clean and safe and well ventilated plenty off space friendly staff, however the carpak is not free but there is plenty of carparks, it is good I recommend for indoor sports activities.
Pretty decent powerlifting gym; deadlift, bench and squat equipment. Accessory machines and free weight area, dumbbells to 50kg, 4 bench/press areas, deadlift and trap bar, back extension leg extension and multiple cable areas. Will visit again
Average stay at YMCA Hostel - The atmosphere is decent, ok but nothing special. - The WIFI barely works throughout the whole hostel. - The rooms have a locker and a small fridge inside. - The check in process was slow and also frustrating that one has to pay a 70dollars deposit for the key. - The kitchens are very small and not well equipped with utensils. One has to pay a 10 dollar deposit for a plate, fork and knife, which is absolutely ridiculous. Very average hostel stay and if I am in Auckland again, I will probably stay somewhere else.
Holds a $70 deposit for a $75 room. The heater in the room was sparking and don't even get me started on the bathrooms. There are 5 levels where the female bathrooms are only on floor 1 & 5.
We had a nice room, clean and tidy. Reception staff was OK. They didn’t explain to us how to open the exit door so we asked always someone if they could open it. Just the last day one lady mention the key pad. Kitchen was basically empty, you have to oat for everything, not something you see in a hostel. We dis actually enjoy the room, but moved to a different hostel due to these amenities.
Great place to hire the indoor courts for a casual hour of exercise with friends.
Great place for social games. Decent amount of car parking. Access is a bit restricted for our disability community due to a lot of steps. Great location near the on ramps to both SH1 and SH20.
I love this gym. Wheelchair accessible gym where I can work. A Physiotherapist if I need and helpful trainers offering great ideas
We hired or half the gym to play some indie soccer. The gym was nice and fairly clean. They also had goals which we were able to use. They have paid parking by the entrance otherwise there is street parking along Pitt street.
Staff are fantastic. Good parking facilities. Good gym facilities. There is an indoor Basketball court upstairs, which you can hire for a fee. Book it in advance, as its often booked out for only limited time slots.
