It was a ideal place to stay on the lakefront. Good ambience and services for those who visit on a limited budget. More choices of accommodation with good kitchen facilities. Neat and clean. Well maintained.

Had a nice stay in a queen en-suite room during a recent visit and pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, comfortable and bright with a clear view of the lake. Just a short walk to the town center.

Great location by the lake and walking distance to the restaurants and bars. I love the set up. It's very well designed with large kitchen and dining areas plus it's fully equipped with kitchen appliances and untensils.

I always love to stay at this place. Very tidy and clean. Amazing view of the lake.

Great hostel overlooking Lake Wakatipu with gorgeous views. Clean, modern facilities, informative staff, and a well set up building. YHA always runs a really well organized hostel, no matter where it is. I've stayed in numerous locations — this one is a favorite. Comfortable, clean beds. Kitchen area is well stocked.

Really good, as all YHAs in NZ. Clean, affordable. Above all - they have a dry room!

Awesome hostel on the lakefront just 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Great views of the lake and mountains while you're eating breakfast. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable rooms and clean amenities. Super helpful staff willing to give recommendations. There is also free parking if you need it.
