Nomads Queenstown Hostel

The accommodation was excellent—easily one of the best hostels I've stayed at so far.nnThe real highlight, however, is the info desk, where you can have an entire trip planned and booked for free by one of the staff members. James took the time to help me in great detail. He not only assisted me with organizing my van trip in New Zealand, but also planned two weeks in Australia for me.nEverything worked out perfectly, and whenever I had any questions or ran into problems, he was always available and dealt with them straight away.nnThank you again, James, for all your amazing support!

I don’t usually leave reviews but this place truly deserves it! The staff were amazing, namely Rachel at the desk and Orla in the staff, who both went out of their way to help me have to best stay possible. Rooms were very well maintained and the common areas were always clean. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re passing through Queenstown!

Awesome place to stay, only issue we had was the noise on the 3rd floor on the “clubs” side, with clubs below you, it was quite loud come 8-9pm through till 2-3am. As expected with the location, we were provided with ear plugs which dramatically helped. Would happily book here again during the week, but as a light sleeper i wouldn’t book again for a weekend. Everything else was very good. The service was awesome. The view was outstanding too.

I had the en-suite king room. Everything was great until you try to sleep. The fan in the bathroom doesn’t turn off and is quite loud. But, the nightclub underneath cranks up until early morning. No amount of ear plugs is going to help with that. Location, staff, the room itself is awesome. I just didn’t sleep for 3 nights.

I stayed at this hostel in a private room with an attached bathroom, and it was surprisingly not bad. They do daily room cleaning and even provide a kettle and fridge. For the hair dryer, you need to leave your ID as a deposit, which I found a bit strange since they already had a copy.nnOverall, it’s good value for money, and I’d be happy to stay again. The best part is definitely the location!
