Woudenberg Contracting is a small family owned hay baling business located in West Melton/Weedons that specializes in small square sized bales & wrapping

Story

Woudenberg Contracting is based in West Melton, we specialize in everything conventional baling, from mowing right through to baling and wrapping small conventional sized bales as well as stacking and carting.

In an area that is dominated by lifestyle blocks and small farms, small bales are still the most efficient method of harvesting and storing feed. they can be easily handled without tractors, and can be easily stored, feed out, and/or sold.



We have now also purchased a state of the art bale wrapper that allows us to make balage using a conventional baler. This wrapper is the first of its kind in the south island and means we are able to bale and wrap very large numbers everyday compared with the current wrappers currently in the area. we also use a innoculant dispenser on our baler as we bale which means we can guarantee the quality of the finished product once wrapped, the innoculant is safe for all stock including horses.
