Story

FarmBuild's designs have been developed with more than 70 years of input from countless farmers, their families, managers, stock men and advisers. From wool sheds to homesteads, the knowledge gained from this experience is applied to every new project, and every client's individual needs and challenges are put first.

FarmBuild has been in the business of building for rural customers since 1939. Over that time the company has completed a substantial number of projects – both large and small. Today, FarmBuild still works with children and grandchildren of the farmers the company worked with some seventy years ago.

FarmBuild has worked throughout New Zealand, the Chatham Islands and even in Australia. Its designs are proven and the company’s workmanship has stood the test of time, which, coupled with intergenerational repeat business over seven decades, is a testament to its quality of work. Over the years, FarmBuild has built strong relationships with a number of suppliers, enabling the company to give all clients competitive prices.

FarmBuild’s experience includes homesteads, manager’s houses, farm accommodation, shearers quarters, cottages, alterations, wool sheds, 1-to-8 stand sheds, covered yards of all shapes and designs, wool tables, wool bins, gates, lift and swing gates, workshops (both large and small), deer sheds, calf rearing shed, wintering sheds, stables, tack rooms, feed sheds, hay sheds, fertiliser sheds, hangars, cattle yards and a wide variety of maintenance on buildings.
