Good size, plenty of parking and noise level is low. Can be a bit difficult to navigate the store as there's two aisles per row and the items don't line up has I'd expect. Super quiet so great for anyone who doesn't like big crowds or loud environments.
I had a very frustrating and illogical experience at this Woolworths at around 8:00am today.nnI presented my valid physical ID to purchase alcohol, but the staff refused to sell it because my wife did not have her physical ID with her — even though she was not the one making the purchase. We were also there with our six-year-old child, which makes the situation even more unreasonable. A photo of my wife’s ID was not accepted.nnI then asked a simple question: if we both left the store and I returned alone with my valid ID, would I be allowed to purchase it? The staff said no — that if my wife did not have her ID, they still could not sell it to me. This makes absolutely no logical sense. I am an adult with valid ID, yet I was refused based on another adult’s lack of ID, even if they were not the purchaser.nnBy this logic, what happens if two adults enter together but later separate and pay individually? Or when parents shop with their young children? Would you require ID from everyone present, including a six-year-old?nnThis was not responsible enforcement of alcohol policy — it was staff applying rules blindly without logic or proper judgment. The experience was unreasonable, excessive, and disrespectful.nnVery disappointing. Staff need proper training on applying ID policies in a logical, fair, and professional manner.
Store itself is good but the customer service is bad. I rang to inquire about a missing item, made to wait for a few minutes then they ended the call on me. Answering properly doesn't cost anything!
Was assisted at self checkouts by lively helpful young woman. Matma? 9.37am Saturday. Made my checking out much easier.
My go-to supermarket, always the most helpful, friendly staff even when they forget some of my groceries!!
