Good layout, and clean. However missing a lot of stock and at the self service checkout, we were asked to move to another register because we were paying by card. The one given was cramped and hard with a trolley and kept getting in another person's way. I didn't think I should have moved as spent over $125 dollars.
As at 29.12.22, i rate this store a very good 4 out of 5 - Due to the great customer service initiated by the Manager, running this Countdown.nnService; Great service, I asked for help and the woman who served me said the policy in the store is if the customer asks they will certainly help me to pack my items.nContrasted with Waiata Shores Countdown in Takanini who have a very rude checkout operator by the name of ' Logan', he chose to drink Red Bull, zero customer service and was condescending as heck!nnFriendliness; most of the staff were friendly although when I asked an Indian staff member where the eggs were he chose to not look up at me , look at his phone and said Isle 7. When I said I'm sorry what did you say that is when he looked up at me and said Isle 7.nnCleanliness; This store provides wipes and hand sanitiser. Store us clean and in good order.nnEquity; good amount of cultural representation. Such a huge place,that I had to ask other friendly shoppers to look for salt,which I greatly appreciated,the bake shop has great bakings to choose from and freshly baked bread, what's really good is that ,there are 3 types of trush bins just outside the shop with clear user instructions.Haven't been at Bayfair for a long while,that I literally lost my way around ,there are such a huge variety of shop outlets now.Have to familiarize more next visit.
Horrible experience here with customer service. I had two young kids under two. The new app they have wasn’t showing a barcode to scan on my phone, although everything else showed up and Christina mentioned her name was spelt wrong? at the self checkouts was extremely rude. Bought me to tears. She said I could walk around outside the store if I needed to but I explained I wasn’t willing to leave my two young children there alone. She said it was my problem. Offered no other help. Just walked away. I ended up paying without the barcode even though it meant I had none of the offers listed. I had even especially downloaded the new app before leaving home to ease my load having two young kids with me
Everything you want in a super market. Visited on a long weekend and disappointing to discover lack of produce. Run out of hot chicken and breads. Not good for out of town visitors looking for a nice meal.
