Just for today.nnNot a good experience today. There should be a sign above the plastic trolleys to inform customers that they are not allowed to take them outside the store. Nobody likes being told this only after completing their payment and about to leave. I suggested to the staff that they should put up a sign—how else are customers supposed to know the rule? The staff member said they would inform customers individually. I then asked if I could load my items into my car and return the trolley to the store, but they refused.nWhen I back to the car, I saw there was a plastic trolley at the trolley bay, how could that happened?

Love this place, we have been shopping here during our recent holiday in Queenstown as we love making our meals at our AB&B. The groceries were comprehensive and the meat and vegetables were fresh, good price and the staff was very, honest, friendly and helpful. I lost my wallet in the store and the staff helped secure and returned it to me a few our later. Thanks to the team at this Woolworth, you made our holiday perfect!
A delivery for our staff Christmas Party was delivered to the wrong address and left. Did anybody check ID or names when dropping off the delivery? Upon contacting Woolworths Queenstown store, we were informed that they were unable to contact the driver who was out for delivery and it would “take too long” for the staff member to fill a form out to get it redelivered and it would be quicker to contact the call centre to tell them about it instead. We were transferred through to the call centre who said that all deliveries were booked out, they could not contact the driver, and the delivery would be sent the next day at earliest. Instead of taking ownership of the issue or at the very least, contacting the driver, or giving us their number, the staff member would rather pass the buck and get somebody else to deal with the issue. Incredibly bad service. Not the first time I’ve had issues with this service option at Woolworths Queenstown.
