I visit this shop very often but tonight was the weirdest one. I asked one of the supervisors if they are selling evaporated milk however she doesn’t even know until I found one which was actually expired it was written in the can “best before 2025”and until now it’s still on their shelf last 2 cans. She was insisting its 2026 which is clearly not, by the way the milk was on sale for $4 which I can understand cause it’s expired. Please make sure you’re checking your product expiry before selling it and train your staff.
I ate at Sals in Sydney a few days ago, you can actually look up the review. I got the same pizza that I got in Sydney a Brooklyn. The pizza toppings were delicious, but the pizza itself was wet as hell in the middle like it wasn’t cooked enough or Water was on it. I don’t know.nI saw other tables with giraffes of water and glasses. I was not given one.nThe wings were fantastic. The place was understaffed, though, and a bit slow.
The staff were unfriendly, and the supermarket was disorganised. Products were placed under the wrong prices, and despite multiple employees noticing the error, no apology or price matching was offered. Other supermarkets typically handle this much better.

This was the weirdest grocery store experience I’ve had in my 30 years of life. My wife and I went here three times during our stay in Queenstown and never again. Our first experience was going through the self check-out and had an employee watching us like a hawk and continuously checking we weren’t stealing. The second time was the same. We put this down to maybe someone having a bad day or being overly cautious, but the third time took the cake. We were scanning as per usual and I was about to scan the garlic there were no faults in the machine requiring assistance, the lady came along grabbed it from me and told me I had to scan the garlic… and I replied “yeah I’m getting there” and she rudely walked off. I’m honestly so confused, if someone from the store could contact me to explain to me how this happened it would be really appreciated. If you’re a bloke with a beard I would avoid.
