Whau Cafe

An amazing place to have a coffee after walking/running or cycling up the mountain. Leave your phones aside and you can enjoy the calm and peace of the place. Coffee was good but a bit expensive than the other options available around. You are just among the trees and have a city view. So near yet so far from the rush and buildings.

Delicious food, great service and fantastic views

Love it every time I go, the experience the story of Whau and of course the food. And even better today I got to have a glass of wine whilst enjoying the food and views!

I loved everything about this café! The food was absolutely delicious, with great vegan and regular options which is always a difficult combo to find. The parāoa parai was out of this world and the scenery was so special. Perfect café for the maunga

Nice location and delicious food . try their fry bread

Great coffee but my meal was not good. Had to leave most of it. The raw fish was rubbery and smelly, which a good raw fish dish definitely isn't. Nice views of the city, but open space with wooden floors means it gets very noisy.
