Such a neat cafe with visitors information centre. Nice to go for a walk and come down for an ice cream or a coffee. Quiet and spacious inside and nice view to the city sitting on the deck on a sunny day. They only have simple cabinet food though.

What a great café! We found it by accident and were so glad we did. The location is fantastic, with an amazing view. Perfect for those of us who can’t make the walk up to the summit. The staff were all lovely and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend a visit!

A lovely place to visit for a light meal latte, kid hot chocs, chia pudding and brownie after a walk on the maunga. Service was very friendly, but as it was busy receiving our order took a while. This didn’t bother us though - it was all about the ambience and being on the maunga. We enjoyed the history - included a mini movie of the maunga attached to the cafe - our favourite part.nnSomething fun… All the tables had the topography of all the local maunga carved in them and then filled with resin - a lovely touch. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

This café is in an excellent location with a picturesque view — the perfect spot to take a break and soak in the surroundings. It’s also really convenient that there’s parking close by, making it easy to pop in without any hassle. I loved that the café is attached to the visitor experience centre — such a great idea and a nice touch for anyone exploring the area. The space itself is bright, open, and welcoming, with friendly staff members. I ordered a chai latte, which unfortunately was a bit too sweet for my taste, and the chai spices were quite subtle. That said, it’s still a lovely spot to relax, and I’d happily come back to try something else on the menu next time.

We went for breakfast, the coffee and food was delicious and tasty, the service was amazing, seating available indoors and outdoor its a must specially if you’re going to Mount Eden summit
