Very much needed spot in the area. Cozy busy Cafe with of one of a kind pastries. One of the best almond croissant in NZ, yes it costs $8.50 but it is so worth it. Full of frangipane and very filling. Try the other pastries, many one of them are one of a kind. All Press on the coffee grinder and great attentive staff and DOG Friendly!

Great to find a place with a kitchen open so early! Polished yet friendly service. Well executed coffee - allpress in a relatively traditional style. The scampi spaghetti and squid salad were amazing and deserved their higher price in terms of quality not portion size - which is exactly what we're after.

One of the best almond croissants I had in Auckland. The almonds at the top were perfectly toasted with a good crunch but not brittle. Flavours were subtle with a hint of nutty sweetness. The croissant itself was well-layered, crunchy but not flaky on the outside and really soft on the inside. The almond paste was just right - buttery, smooth and mouthful but not too sweet. 10/10 would recommend.

Had the most delicious lunch here today! We had the salmon Benedict, eggplant on toast, raspberry tart, lamington, latte and turmeric latte. Cost ~$60. Have taken off one star as coffee tasted a little burnt. Service was amazing and would definitely return. Thanks!

Give 5 stars for their croissants and will come back for more. Otherwise overall is really a 4.5 star Lamington very soggy at the bottom and scrambled eggs were not their strongest dishes. Coffee was average all press coffee….

The almond croissant is worth the hype! Absolutely delicious! The coffee is sometimes good and sometimes bad. Consistency in coffee will make this place a five star cafe

I've only ever come for their Pastries takeaway and it's some of the best in Auckland. Their dine in area is alway busy and I can see why! Must order their croissant loaf! You won't regret it!

Excellent service and really quick even though they were run off their feet busy the day we visited. The cabinet had a great selection of baked goods. The lamington tasted homemade - it was my favourite part of the meal. The mains we had were all good, the smoked fish was very tasty. Watch the pesky birds if you're outside - they swooped in on the chips and got one!

Lovely winters morning at Knead on benson, Had the croque monsieur and a pear danish to finish, awesome ambience and plenty of locals out enjoying the cafe today. No expenses were sparred on the fit out absolutely stunning! Will be back! Sterling Arnet Kakapo Business Sales

The cool cafe I visited had a decent interior with comfortable seating options and modern decor. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The menu offered a variety of unique and delicious savouries, drinks and many more. making it a perfect spot for a casual hangout. Plenty of off-street parking! Nice atmospheric area.
