This place needs some renovation as the place is a bit old, but still love going here to play some basketball. Parking spaces available and it's for free.
Love the fact this pool doesn’t use as much chlorine - they boast they are the cleanest pool. Nothing wrong with the 25m pool. The changing rooms need a spruce up though. They are cold, not ideal at this time of year and will put off a lot of people, especially the elderly and disabled for whom a low impact form of exercise like swimming is ideal.nnI wonder how the visitor demographics change when cold weather hits? Pity the elderly and disabled who live nearby, who can’t afford or are unable to drive across town to use facilities with decent heatingnnThe pool surround is warm, however when you go in the changing rooms feels like the temp drops about 10 degrees.nnNeed hairdryers and counters to rest your things by them too.nnJust a bit of work to sort of the changing rooms would make the place a lot more appealing and undoubtably result in increased patronage over winter.
I called them the day before asking if the lanes are free and not booked in for the squads,etc so I can swim in the morning, and they said that there are no booking and the lanes are free.nGot there at 6am and you’ll never guess. The lanes are full and booked.nI’m still on the process of learning how to swim as an adult - so im not that confident to share lanes to some people thats why i asked them about lane’s availability.nI love swimming on this pool so much - im just disappointed that “some” of the staff on the desk are not doing their job properly. And got negative vibes especially the saturday receptionist ‍
I love this pool, I always come here when I can. The kids love swimming in the different sized pools. We always have fun can't wait to come here again soon. I definitely recommend coming here it's a great place for all ages with swim equipment that you can buy at the front desk like googles, swim wear, and water toys for the kids. I've also heard that there's a gym, but haven't had a look even tho I've been going here for years.
A nice place to play some basketball. Place is not that new but it is clean and well maintained.
