Short walk from the carpark, loop track available. The walking track starts at the top looking down onto the waterfall, the two viewing platforms here are wheelchair/pram accessible. For a closer look, take a number of stairs downhill, and you will reach the bottom of the waterfall and the connecting river. Beautiful spot with a little picnic table as well.
Whangarei Falls is a fantastic spot that's incredibly easy to access. Located right beside the car park, it's a short walk down to the falls and back. The waterfall itself is stunning, and the surrounding area is peaceful and serene. Perfect for a quick getaway or a leisurely stroll.
It was a very beautiful place. Get to see whangarei waterfall. Good to come bring your family and friends here. Nice place to have a picnic. Nice place to walk on the path way. I guess summer time Nice place to swim here. Public toilet here.
It is free to walk around. Good place to have picnic. The waterfall is not particularly huge or exciting. It is probably not worth a special trip. If you are nearly, it is certainly worth a stop.
The view of the falls is breathtaking. It's also a good place to do some trekking. Make sure you wear walking shoes as the path going to the falls can be steep, slippery and muddy. Parking can get filled up quickly. There was a van parked there and the person actually hung his clothes by the car park.
