Great walk beautiful views can be quite challenging at times
This is a challenging walk from Wilson Ave end to Russell road and back or down to the Quarry Art centre. Good for tramp fitness training out of the sun most of the time.
Great track with many native plants and flowers.
Love this place very special to me my grandsons cross is here as this is were he passed away and thank you to council workers who keep it trimmed when we don't get up from auckland
Not recommended if you hate stairs or have bad knees or ankles. A walk that isn't a walk. It's torture. Over 90% of the track consists of steep wooden staircases. No real views. You won't ever want to see another stair. It simply links 2 Whangārei neighborhoods.
