To access this place you need to park your car by the kerbside. No dedicated parking. It’s a nice bush walk that’s approximately 400m long amidst a few houses. This place gives true nature’s feeling with a nice waterfall.
This is a real hidden gem in the city. Beautiful Riverside walk and plenty of swimming holes at the falls. No toilets. Track runs from the isite on SH1 up to the falls and onto housing area.
Nice waterfall hidden away. Short hike with steps from the road if you go by car.
Tuck away in a residential neighborhood, the waterfall was beautiful. There’s a paved trail to reach the top of the waterfall. We visited on a Friday in September and we were the only one there.
Waterfall is approximately 800m easy walk from Raumanga Valley Rd near Limestone Place. There are two pools deep enough for swimming at the top of the waterfall. However there is also brown slime/algae present that turned me off swimming. Check the water quality on the LAWA website before swimming. This stream is only safe to swim half the time.
