Very private very nice, make sure you go there around midday when you want to have some sun, otherwise the bush makes a lot of shade
This is a real hidden gem in the city. Beautiful Riverside walk and plenty of swimming holes at the falls. No toilets. Track runs from the isite on SH1 up to the falls and onto housing area.
Tuck away in a residential neighborhood, the waterfall was beautiful. There’s a paved trail to reach the top of the waterfall. We visited on a Friday in September and we were the only one there.
Very short walk from the top to the falls. Not really for young kids, good spot to have a little dip tho but more for adults, nice cold water on a summer's day
Waterfall is approximately 800m easy walk from Raumanga Valley Rd near Limestone Place. There are two pools deep enough for swimming at the top of the waterfall. However there is also brown slime/algae present that turned me off swimming. Check the water quality on the LAWA website before swimming. This stream is only safe to swim half the time.
