Impeccably kept campground with excellent facilities including salt water pool. Staff were awesome, welcoming and helpful. Convenience store and cafe at the gate. Beach and huge family playground right next door. Quite a windy coastal site during our stay January which made tenting a bit difficult, but cant help the weather! Other than beach and playground there's not much to do other than relax with a book or head to town 10 min drive for activities if you're looking for more. Overall a great wee pet friendly spot. Thanks for having us.

Last Friday, we attended the BMW Motorrad Rally in Whanganui! nWe booked two nights at a beautiful holiday park — such a peaceful and scenic place to stay. The atmosphere was amazing, the facilities were great, and everything was so well maintained. We absolutely loved our time there and will definitely book this holiday park again for a longer stay next time!

Staff absolutely amazing they were very accommodating to our large camping group of 30 people. Had a fantastic time.

Staff went above and beyond, even helping to secure our gazebo in the rain during severe weather warnings. Enjoyed our stay and time there
