Whakatane Hospital Emergency Room

Absolutely disheartening how this “emergency center” is. My husband had been waiting over 4 hours and still going to reach medical attention because he is seeing STROBE LIGHTS when he shuts his eyes. The BEST PART there is absolutely no others waiting and has been over the past 4 HOURS. Such a horrible thing. Do better. Care better.

I had I had chest pain and some worrying symptoms while on holiday, and the doctors and nurses at this hospital’s emergency department went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. They quickly ran every possible test to rule out anything serious, and did so with kindness, care, and great respect. I was truly impressed by how efficient and compassionate they were. I can’t thank them enough for the way they handled everything—I felt safe, reassured, and well taken care of.THANK YOU nnMilad.
