We stay 1 night in a self containment cabin. The grandkids loved the trampoline and blow up pillow. Lots of room to play and the park outside the gate. Also another park 10 mins walk down the bike/walk track.nUnit was clean and beds comfy and warm with love white sheets.nWe are definitely booking another stay in the future.nThank you so much
Stayed in our caravan on a powered site.nAblation block close by, grounds & facilities nicely maintained.nIt's a great location to use the stopbank pathway for a cycle ride or a walk into town.
Very nice and tidy campground. Our power site was great and handy to the amenities. Park is clean and tidy and well maintained. Short walk to the town centre - about 10 minutes along a lovely estuary walkway. Will stay here again.
I came with a group. But I'm giving 5 stars because of their generosity. Just because they offer free home grown rosemary.nnI don't see that everyday. So when I do, it stands out in a very good way and I'm impressed.
Stayed here on a recommendation from the Surtees owners fishing competition organisers.nnPerfect for a stay if you are fishing the waters off Whakatane and have towed a boat as plenty of parking and a good filleting station & boat wash facility. The cabin we had was very clean & comfortable with everything you need.nnWould definitely recommend and stay here again .
