Came here for lunch today as I was curious to try Wendy's as I had heard good things about it. In conclusion, I found it to be very average. I ordered a baconator large combo, which was $20.90, which i found to be very overpriced. The burger itself was decant with 2 meat patties and bacon. The chips, however, were very average, and the drink was half filled with ice. Service was also very average here, I requested table service, but instead, they just shouted out my number. In conclusion, if you're in Paraparaumu and looking for a cheap burger, I'd recommend going to McDonalds over Wendy's as it is far better value for money and tastes just as good.
It was so nice to walk in and be greeted nicely. Staff were helpful and I tried to navigate the order machine. Food was tasty too.
This place was dead quiet today, no music, the chilli was thermo nuclear, and the dining area was absolutely filthy, the floor was covered in food and rubbish and there were flys buzzing around, tables hadn’t been wiped and sauce was dried and mooshed into the floor
This place was very dirty see attached photos. Lots of squashed fries and residues on the floor and seats. The empty table next to us were lots of food residues on it and no one get it clean we’ve been in the shop for about 40mins. The combo we ordered, they brought us the food first but totally forgot to bring us all the drinks until I reminded them in about 5 mins and insisted to see my receipt to prove I did pay for it. Also there were one solid frozen fries among the hot fries and the cashier told me to get me a free fries after I complaint. However a minute later the manager asked me a lot of questions about the free fries cashier were about to get me just trying to make sure I’m not a scammer with a not very good attitude. I went to Wendy’s a lot when I was in Japan and that was one of my favorites. Unfortunately this is an only Wendy’s within 200km radius from Wellington. So take it or leave it.
Did not eat. Ordered a parfait. Had yo wait 15 minutes for the machine to do its thing. That was fine. After 15 min was up, I could only get thick shakes. Was told another 15 to get parfait. So, I swapped for a shake. Cup coated in chocolate sauce made for an undrinkable shake. Way to sweet for me.
