Came here for lunch today as I was curious to try Wendy's as I had heard good things about it. In conclusion, I found it to be very average. I ordered a baconator large combo, which was $20.90, which i found to be very overpriced. The burger itself was decant with 2 meat patties and bacon. The chips, however, were very average, and the drink was half filled with ice. Service was also very average here, I requested table service, but instead, they just shouted out my number. In conclusion, if you're in Paraparaumu and looking for a cheap burger, I'd recommend going to McDonalds over Wendy's as it is far better value for money and tastes just as good.
It was so nice to walk in and be greeted nicely. Staff were helpful and I tried to navigate the order machine. Food was tasty too.
Did not eat. Ordered a parfait. Had yo wait 15 minutes for the machine to do its thing. That was fine. After 15 min was up, I could only get thick shakes. Was told another 15 to get parfait. So, I swapped for a shake. Cup coated in chocolate sauce made for an undrinkable shake. Way to sweet for me.
Quite impressed with the way my burger was made given most fast food joints just play Frisbee with the ingredients and hope it looks like a burger.
Exceptional burger for the price, nicely seasoned, great flavour and thick, juicy pickles. Chips were great and perfectly salted. Better than the competitors on price and quality, and frankly than some of the gourmet burger chains I'm looking at you ReBurger.
