Dr Robert is well versed in what he does! He has a way of communicating with his patients which mirrors their communication styles and I felt so comfortable and informed throughout. No question of mine was left unanswered and I had a comprehensive level of understanding after each answer. Dr Robert is very honest, and it’s evident that the well-being of his patients is paramount to him. If you’ve had a bad experience here, I think maybe you need to evaluate your expectations and ensure you’re being realistic with your desired results in correlation to your proposed procedure. I initially went in with hopes of getting one treatment, but after consulting Dr Robert, he constructively and informatively advised as to why this wasn’t as suitable a solution as the one he then suggested to me instead. I’m very satisfied with the treatment executed - it was carried out professionally and at no point did I feel that he was unsure of what he was doing and am really happy with the outcome. Thank you Dr Robert, you’re a fkn legend hun.
I went in for a 30 minute consultation and was charged nearly $100. The consultation consisted of the Dr explaining ageing to me and recommending eye surgery and cheek fillers, neither of which I have ever been interested in and never will be. It was a complete waste of money - they also overcharged me, as their website clearly states that new patient consultations are $50. Totally unprofessional and I would never go back except to get back the difference they owe me. Just adding after the "response from the owner" - the consultation was NOT 45 min and was NOT comprehensive - I was left wondering what my options were. It was also 30 minutes at most. The medical condition "inflicted upon myself" - was an allergic reaction I had, that I disclosed in my booking request. The tone of their reply shows me that I made the correct judgement of this clinic and I'm glad I didn't give them any more of my time or money. They got my $100 $98.33 - not sure what more they are looking for.
I sincerely hope that this place is under new management, because I had a genuinely unpleasant experience with them in 2019. During my first consultation I was promised a procedure that included a follow-up treatment. A while after my initial procedure I called to make that follow up treatment, stating what it was for. They booked me in and told me that I was all set to get the follow-up treatment that I was promised. However, upon my arrival I was greeted by the manager and told that they don't do that and that I should not have been offered that treatment in the first place. I was offered no form of compensation for my time and money, even though I paid them specifically for these two appointments, not one. If I had known that it would only be the one procedure, I would not have paid that much for it and would have gone elsewhere. Furthermore, the way in which the owner/boss of this cosmetic clinic handled it was neither fair nor considerate to myself and several others in the same situation, - who were promised a service under his watch, which was not fully delivered.
Dr Robert John was incredible, spoke through my procedure to me and my mum. My mum struggles with medical jargon as English isn't her first language. She was worried as any mother is when their daughter wants something done to her face. Robert explained everything clearly to her and was not pushy about it being done, only if we felt comfortable but reassuring us. She felt so calm she ended up talking to him about a possible procedure she wants done haha! The procedure went really well, and after allowing everything to heal, I feel confident in writing a review to let people know Robert is 100% a magician and did wonders for me. Would recommend for sure!!!! It can be scary getting work done and not knowing who to trust, so this i to reassure people about this clinic :
I have been coming here since the near beginning of 2019. The last time I went in September 24th 2020 I was booked in with someone else Used to always see Nicole and she did a wonderful job. The lady I got was dismissive, felt like she just wanted the appointment to be over as fast as she could - which is not the kind of service you want when you are paying lots of money. She told me to get my eyebrows micro bladed above my actual eyebrows Worst recommendation ever - who would do that?!!?. My mum was visiting from out of town and she made an appointment with me. She’s been getting the same procedure for 10 years and she said that it was the worst result she has ever had - in fact had no result. My procedure lasted longer when Nicole did it and this time has worn off quick and the first 2 weeks looked like it did when it was wearing off when Nicole did it. Terrible!! Would not recommend coming here now that Nicole isn’t there. P.s my mum rang and told her experience and all you had to say was you signed a form you agree to the 2 week period, she lives out of town...You should at least be sympathetic/take the feedback on the chin instead of being defensive. The products you use suck!! Rip off and never coming back. Edit: In reply to you saying I haven’t been to you recently - I have thanks. Not everyone uses their full names on google reviews. So no, it’s not a malicious post as you’ve said, it’s an honest review.
Had an awesome experience with Jess, she was knowledgeable and explained things in plain English, which is so important when you're making a big decision. I highly recommend both the clinic and Jess as your RN, i'll definitely be back to have more treatments with Jess in the future. Thanks for making my first botox experience such a positive one!
Highly recommended! I just had the most amazing facial with Danii. She was knowledgeable, professional and engaging. She really know alot about skincare and talked me through the benefits of the microderm and peel. Thanks for a fantastic service. The clinic treatments are a very reasonable price too. I will be back and let others know about this great place!!
Just had a most professional, superior and fun experience, having some much needed but discreet treatment at the Wellington Cosmetic Clinic! Robert seems to run a tight ship, with the latest procedures available. The staff are lovely, the venue clean and tastefully furnished, with beautiful, and assorted art work!
What an amazing team! Dr Robert is just fantastic at what he does, very open and honest about all procedures an actively listens to what you want giving good guidance along the way. You guys are amazing! Thank you!
