We had a very pleasant stay for 1 night after an unpleasant accommodation experience in Wellington. Host was lovely, very accommodating. The room was spacious, very clean and warm. The walk-in shower was amazing! Very quiet spot as advertised, as it is down a long driveway off the main road. Parking was great. Very nice log cabin aesthetic. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area. :

Love a good log cabin feel. Very comfortable, clean, well looked after and up off the main road so lovely and quiet. Not the biggest amount of space but laid out well so it doesn't feel cramped. Nicest motel I've stayed in for a while. Thanks Welcome Inn
Booked one night for my husband and son. Decided on a two bedroom so my son had his own bed.nHad a call from the owner complaining and demanding an explanation why more than them had stayed in the room. I assured him that only my husband and son stayed in the room. He insisted my husband ring him to explain why all the beds had been used and who else had stayed there. Turns out the rooms are freezing and my husband used the blankets on the bed to keep my son warm. No other people were in the property. Not great service to be accused of something and innocently just trying to stay warm on a winters night.
I have been here twice a year for 5 years and thought it was about time I wrote something nice about the place. Rooms are always warm, exactly as described and have a nice log cabin aesthetic. Also great value.
