amble inn

we were lucky enough to find a room available at the amble inn rather late in the day. yes the place was a little old fashioned, but it was it spotlessly clean & cosy. crisp white sheets and electric blankets. oh and Jewel who was in charge, was an absolute gem...asked if we'd eaten...it was late...and she promptly gave us 3 delicious sandwiches and .... refused payment. couldn't ask for more.

Was very dated needs some tlc . Didn't smell very good bathroom old toilet seat never stayed up keeping y hitting you in the back shower water all over the floor was only a curtain. But over all the owner was lovely lady.

Great place to go when travelling with man best friend.nBit noisy at night on SH1.
