I was a lone traveller & stayed in room 1106 on Friday evening. Absolutely Loved my stay here. The guys at reception were great and helpful. I think I paid for a 1bedroom upon entering the room I found it had two bedrooms one for my luggage and one for me. The room was quiet and the bathroom was clean and tidy, everything you needed for the kitchen were accessible & it was very convenient for my travel the next day. The view was beautiful also...keep in mind there were questionable people entering & exiting, but that did not hinder my stay. Definitely Recommend!

We stayed at MCentral while in Auckland for Ed Sheeran. Looked great on the website. Would have been great for a few years after it was built back in 2015. Now in 2023 it is looking a little tired. When we checked in, the reception was very utilitarian.....not inviting at all. We were then told by someone staying there that some rooms were used as Emergency Housing and that we could be in for some entertainment. When I asked the reception about this I was informed that yes, some people owned their own apartments and chose to let as EH for MSD clients. We did see a few interesting people as we were unloading our car. Parking is outside and not secure. Reasonable rate though at $10 per night. The room was a good size. We stayed room 802. The couch was a little worn, the fridge/freezer was full of dents, looked like it had been used as a punching bag. A large strip of wallpaper was hanging off in the bathroom and a large hole looked like it had been punched on the inside of the bathroom door and filled and sanded back but not painted. Missing plates, cutlery and glasses as well. However. We found the bed comfortable as well as the pillows. It was clean, a credit to the cleaners, and a portable air con unit had been provided which helped with the humidity. The double glazing was great. Shut out the noise and we had no "entertainment " during our 2 night stay. Would we stay again.....probably not. Would score 4.5 out of 10

I didn't even get to stay! Had my Room booked for many months due to location. They have phoned asking me to cancel my room... I've requested them to cancel it as I believe they have realized the demand for the booked date. So happens to have a room available the same night at $100+ more for the same room. Blamed it on some plumbing issue that has effected the whole property... which is obviously a complete lie as rooms are still available until then and past then! Lies lies lies

Stayed here for business. The rooms are satisfactory although a little tired looking based on my own personal stays in two different rooms. Very accessible to both bus station and Westfield mall. Also close to airport so convenient for travel. I would stay here again.Rooms: 4/5

EMERGENCY HOUSING APARTMENTS! We are currently staying in Room 1008 which is level 10, room 08. Upon checkin in, let’s just say there were lots of colourful & interesting conversation going on in the lobby. I went downstairs at 10pm to grab my luggage, and a woman approached me asking if she can come for a ride, I then started to notice the other guest in the lobby looked like homeless people. Only to find out its emergency housing. The reception was truly nice and really tried to accomodate to us as much as he could, so I can’t fault him. I fell down the entrance stairs and sprained my ankle because of uneven ground right side rail. Again reception guy was really nice and attentive. Beautiful view, it’s such a pity about the emergency housing. Cleaning service is minimal, they don’t make the beds, they only replace sheets and they don’t vacuum due to Covid? But again, when I requested to reception to get beds made, and vacuum, he did it, so thanks for that. Would I come back? No. I would not recommend especially for safety reasons. We aren’t really fussy, but clean rooms and security are a must. So for that, please consider carefully. Only 1 lift is operational, and even that was not working for part of our stay. Staying on the 10th floor isn’t ideal when there’s no back up lift.

The foyer was very dirty and the reception area was not very inviting. There were some unruly people always at the entrance, some smoking cigarettes and marijuana others eating in their pj's. People arguing at all hours of the night. Paid for a parking spot only to park in it once. A lot of stuff that was advertised was not supplied in our room. The beds were only a double when advertised as queen size and were not very comfortable. We felt very unsafe here and checked out after two nights we had booked for 12. We had to fight to get our money back but did get a refund for the remainder of our booking. Please be wary when staying here.

Absolutely roasted in my room. Windowless bedrooms and no air cond. one small fan that was pretty useless. Unit well appointed but I couldn’t get the oven to work. Cleaners didn’t leave tea towels even after I asked. Not cheap, and I won’t be returning.

Can not give zero star as I does t even deserve 1. Great location for a hotel or apartment hotel but not this one. Basically a housing commission hotel. Rooms trashed no air con damage on carpets couch tables. Only use for emergency accommodation if needed and not worth more than $70 $80 a night. This is the worst room I have ever seen.

Nice stay and location was great. We were at the 11th floor and Nice views from above. The staff was very friendly. Nice and clean apartments. Would love to come visit again.Rooms: 5/5

Was meant to stay here for work. When I went to go to bed I discovered dead bugs in one bed and the 2nd bed had hair and discoloured sheets in it. The walls had more scratches and dents than a car in a smash up derby. There were no glasses to drink out of, also barely any utensils to cook with. Holes in the ceiling, power cords coming out of the wall which was the fire alarm. This place was disgusting. I actually slept fully clothed and used a towel as a blanket. Avoid this place at all costs.
