Waterloo Fisheries and Chinese Takeaways

Chips are always good. Fish is good 99% of the time. They have smorgasbord available which is a bonus if in a rush. They cut up fresh veg daily for their meals which is great and batter their fish themselves - its not just packaged freezer rubbish.

Egg burger was good. Bought cod battered fish with a scoop of chips to go with it and a coke all for about $17. The chips were a tad too oily for me. Fish was ok. Service was great. Would come back for the burgers and delightful customer service.

Very fast service as per usual. The smorgasbord tends to run quite low in recent visits so may have to check out across the road next time.

Good place to get a quick meal. They close 10pm Summer hrs maybe which is great for the ones like me who finish work at night.
