This is the most beautiful farm, so much lavender, flowers, beautiful products, animals and Bees! So stunning, inviting and fun! Games to play and so many gardens to explore. Loved our time here. And the lavender and chocolate Ice cream was so delicious it was almost erotic! Gorgeous, affordable and a must visit!
A neat and well looked after place to spend an hour or two. There are a variety of animals on the farm in enclosures too. Entry fee was only $5 at the time we went and they’ve got tonnes of stuff in their shop - it smells amazing! The cafe is super cute as well and they’ve for lavender sorbets and chocolates. Staff were friendly and helpful!
Totally love this place! Such a beautiful place to visit, spent a good couple of hours there with our 3yr old. Lavender honey is delicious! Lavender ice cream yummy and lavender macrons ‘oh my lord! Delicious’
Such a beautiful, thought through, well look after farm. You can see how much labour and love been poured into it. So many great spots for the photos, relaxing smell and cute animals. We spent 3 hours there and could not get enough. Thank you!
Really beautiful place with lots of great lavender items which are great for gifts. We got a lavender bath oil and lavender honey harvested right on the farm. We were here in mid November and the lavender must have been harvested recently as there wasn’t any in the farm besides a few decorative ones. Regardless, was a lovely garden and the animals are fun to visit. The goats are surprisingly friendly and love to be petted. Make sure to taste the honey. They are delicious!
Good and cheap place to visit. View is spectacular only if the lavender has blossomed, else it's nothing. But there's animals inside. Kids will be happy. You can feed the goat but not with the rest of the animals.Reservation recommendedNo
Lavender wasn’t quite in bloom, but no matter. This was the perfect mid morning retreat with a friend, and if I was alone I would definitely go back for the day with a good book. The animals were so precious, there were games for the kids, and every turn was filled with beauty. Amazing gift shop where I picked up roller ball oils, bath salts and lotions. Grabbed some lavender chocolate truffles and a lavender Manuka ice cream on the way out. $5 to walk around, just perfect.
Wanaka lavender farm was an absolute delight! We love smelling all the different types of lavender, meandering through the labyrinth, the herb garden, and all the cute animals.. also had the pleasure of speaking with one of the owners who pointed out the photos on the wall that showed was the farm looked like before they took over and just wow. They’ve done a tremendous job turning into the wonderful sanctuary that it is today. We hope to return soon!
Lovely place to spend the morning good to be there when it opens to avoid the crowd. It is lavender season now when we visited but not everything is in full bloom probably because of the farm’s crop cycle or just seasonality. There is a lot to see from animals to different photo spots curated by the farm. Worth the visit for $15 per adult. Spent 2 hours there. Also, worth trying the Lavender Manuka Honey Ice Cream!
Lovely and calming experience. Enjoyed it immensely even though the Lavenders weren't in bloom yet when I visited. The on-ground staff are friendly and helpful, and the honey here is delicious! The farm animals were also gentle and friendly, a perfect spot for the little ones. 10/10 would visit again!
