Learn to Fly NZ - Wanaka Flight Training

The experience here was really great. The coach was very nice, and the Chinese coach at the front desk was very friendly. I came here to learn to fly a plane for my birthday. After being here for 18 years, I should have come to the place for skydiving. It was my first experience learning to fly, piloting a plane through snowy mountains, which was super beautiful! Overall, everything was perfect: sunny skies, snowy mountains, canyons, and rivers.

I experienced so much! You can control the aircraft yourself if you feel comfortable, the instructor is very friendly and informative. I had control almost the entire flight!

This is the best experience iv ever done. Nic my instructor was so lovely and friendly he put me and my partner completely at ease i the air. I cant recommend this enough! It was amazing. Thank you so much. Im going to get home and look up how i can get my private licence, it was that good.

The training instructor Fox was great. He gave clear instructions and led us on great scenic routes. I highly recommend people to try this experience.

Flying High. Our experience with U-Fly Wanaka was exceptional. From the tentative take off, to the spectacular mountain flying, the whole time was a thrill. I had not expected such a 'hands on' experience and the flight with Isaac exceeded my expectations. Flying around, taking the controls for such a large part of the flight was stimulating. Marguerite and I flew over areas of Aspiring National Park where I had been tramping and climbing over the last 50 years. I only wish I had done this flight 30 years ago! I might have gone for my PPL then! Now, I've still got 49 flights to go. No harm in trying to squeeze them in! Thank U-Fly Wanaka

Awesome experience. Did the 1-hour flight lesson to Mt Aspiring. You get to fly the plane for most of the time and since the two controls are linked you can follow the movements of the pilot in critical situations like the landing for example. The pilot explained a lot and even took time to answer all our questions after the flight. Highly recommended!

A friend and I recently had a blast on the U-FLY scenic flight from Wanaka to Milford sound and back. The views were absolutely incredible. We had no idea would see so much. And seeing Milford Sound from the air is absolutely mind blowing. Flying close to the stunning snow-capped mountains and over glaciers, braided rivers and valleys was so beautiful. One of the best things I've ever done in New Zealand. Our pilot was awesome, kept us informed of everything we were seeing and made the whole experience fun.

Fox was an absolute champ and made the whole flight incredibly comfortable and fun. Super knowledgeable of the area and the views were nothing short of amazing.

Amazing experience! Did my first flight there with Isaac, he was very nice and knowledgeable. Learned a lot about flying in the mountains and left with an even greater desire to get my license and keep flying!
